I love family and being creative at home and I love the outdoors, travel and adventure.

When at home, baking a delicious chocolate cake for tea or sewing up a fabric storage bag to be filled with delicious home made cookies for a gift, making myself a new wrap skirt with some beautiful fabric I have found or baking a big batch of rusks or crunchies for a camping trip, brings me joy and keeps me motivated in life. 

I ran a play school from home for many years and loved the creative side of it – coming up with ideas for what to make and bake relating to the various themes we covered. Children are like sponges and gain so much from quality time spent with you as they learn through play.   

This blog is a place where I can continue to be creative and inspire others with all the interesting ideas I have for having fun and spending entertaining and constructive time, either on your own or with a child or children, at home. When I go away or travel, whether near or far, I gather ideas and sometimes even things for projects to do when I return home – I find inspiration wherever I go!
